91 Camaro Price Question

I have a 91 Camaro RS Clean title. It has a brand new paint job Teal with Ghost racing strips. 305 TPI swap from a 305tbi. Harness converted by tpiparts. Leather interior. Drivers side ripped. Automatic. Nice shape I would rate it about 8 or 9 P.S. Looks like a 91 Z28 wing and all including gfx and emblems. How much do you think I can get for it?

Re: 91 Camaro Price Question

Pictures and total miles on engine might help determine a price.

Re: 91 Camaro Price Question

In my area they would sell for around $3000 - $3500 depending on how the underside looked.
If the bottom of the car were rusted it would be less.

If you live in a seasonal area, then selling in spring might bring you a little more money.
If you are not in any hurry to sell, you might make a little more money.
If you advertise lots of different places and have good sales skills you might be able to get a little more money.

And of course, these prices are based on where I live.

Re: 91 Camaro Price Question

Yeah it is a really nice car. I wish I could afford to keep it. I didn't want to see it die. So I started to fix it up and just paid to get it painted then found a perfect 98 SLP Z28 and couldn't pass it up. So here I am with it and need to sell it to pay the loan off for the 98. I also put MSD ignition. Hooker headers 3 inch Y pipe catco cat hooker exhaust all 3 inch! New and loud! paid like 900 for the exhaust alone! So someone is going to get a nice car!

Re: 91 Camaro Price Question

id have to say between $3000-$4000 also it sounds like a nice car... make sure and let people know its a clone ... dont be "that guy" and try to pass it off as a real z28 with a 350 in it... im alwase willing to pay more when the seller is ohnest with me vs me finding he is not telling the truth...not saying you would do any of this just giving you a heads up...

Re: 91 Camaro Price Question

The sad thing about putting performance parts in these 3rd gen cars is, you never get the value back out of them if you sell the car.

I have an 85 Trans-Am I know I could never get back the money I have put into it. But, I don't ever expect to try.

What the performance pieces will do for you is help bring more people to come and look at the car. Which will help you sell it.

Ultimately a car is worth only what someone else is willing to pay for it.
So if you can get the right person at the right time, perhaps you can get the right amount, or at least the amount you want out of it.
