GM vs C&C T-Tops

I just found out tonight that my car has C&C T-Tops, not factory GM ones. I never even thought about it, I had assumed they were OEM. My hatch has been stuck shut (faulty power release), and when I got it open tonight, I noticed the C&C sticker on the underside of the deck lid. I used to have an 88 GTA parts car, which was also a T-Top, and I still have the tops from it in storage. I'm 99% sure they are the exact same tops, which would have meant that car was a C&C t-top car too. Also, the date on the hatch sticker was 6-22-88, which I'm thinking was done by the dealer. Was this a fairly common conversion? It seems like a strange coincidence that both 88 GTA's I've had were both C&C cars. After searching around on the forums, it seems that the weatherstrip is different for the C&C tops, and may actually seal better than the GM tops. Lastly, I never paid too much attention to the t-tops on cars, but I don't think I've seen a set of OEM ones. Can anyone post a pic of factory tops, I'm curious to see how they're different.
