Need help with my headlights
Alright, I have a 1991 Firebird. I have had problems with my headlights ever since I got it. My passenger side lights goes up perfectly fine, but my drivers side light just doesn't go up. I have relpaced the motor and when I direct connect it to a car battery it will work just fine but when I actually connect it the way its supposed to go, it does not work. I tried to rig the two lights together and when I do that one light goes up (passenger) and the drivers side stay down, until you turn them off, then the drivers side goes up and the passengers side goes down. I have replaced the module thing that says GUIDE on it three times, I don't think that is the problem. I do not know why my drivers side will not go up when I turn my lights on. Please help me, Thanks.

Re: Need help with my headlights
I had that problem with my car.
I see you said you replaced the headlight module.Did you replace it with a new or used one?
The reason I ask is because I'm not sure if you're aware that 1990 and up models look the same, but are different for some reason unknown to me.
If you did replace it with the correct one,I would suggest looking at your headlight switch on the dash.

Re: Need help with my headlights
i would try to get a new connector that connects to the module. i had the same problem so i checked to see if power was coming from the module and it was, but when i connected it again the headlight worked perfectly. so i had to replace the connector at the end, the fittings in the end over time seperate and lose there connection.
