i was wondering were i could find one of these hoods. i just need to know were to find one of these and what are the reguirements for having one of these put on. does it reguire a special engine cause i havent seen any of these up close and know nothing about it. if you you can help me it would be nice cause im tryin to put it on a third gen 85 trans-am.

try ebay. i've seen a bunch of them on there in good condition.

 

That or a swap meet.

If you are looking for a hood and scoop kit for an 85 Trans-Am that is like the shaker style in your picture, I do not believe they make a bolt on one.
But I could be wrong; I just have never seen it sold as a simple bolt on kit yet.

You can buy the shaker separate, and then modify your hood to fit.
I did that with my 85 Trans-Am, but I made the scoop part of the hood itself.
Only reason I even added it, is because I needed engine clearance.
