I own the Harwood Daytona Iroc cowl hood and there was no metal sheet/plate that filled in the 4 holes. I called harwood, they can't sell it to me. I was thinking of filling it in with the filter stuff above your gas stove near your light and vent cause it's cheap and my father gave me the idea(possibly just temporary)....whatcha think? Any better suggestions?

i have the same hood,, personally i liked the holes open,, but a friend of mine did back in 2002 is he bought metal mesh gutter covers from lowes he spray painted it falt black(to match his iroc lovers and then clear coated it, it came out pretty sharp

 

I have the same hood on my 86. When I bought the hood the holes had no screen thereand I have just left them as is. It won't harm your engine other than when you wash your car water gets inside and you might have to wipe your air cleaner or intake off.

 

I have tinted plexy glass on mine on the inside part of the hood, looks sharp. There are pictures of it on my cardomain page.
