rattle can paint

i have a 91 rs i brought a iroc wing off ebay and put it on my car when i took off the spoiler it had 12 holes in the car i had to weld up so i decided to paint the car with a rattle can sience i dont have a garage i did a test spot where i welded the holes up at and it didnt come out to bad pretty good refelection but i have a question what could i do to get that glass reflection in it any help would be much apprecited i have the z28 hood to put on it to it is blue right now so in process of painting it now i will be doing the whole car one panel at a time but this the first time welding and painting so i could use a little help thnx

Looks pretty good. The only thing I would think would be some clear or maybe some sanding. Then again i'm in the same situation.

you should be able to wetsand with 2000-2500 till all the gloss is gone then buff it out.

Just a suggestion, dont use duct tape while painting, doesnt leave a very good edge and most of the time it leaves residue which has to be cleaned off later.
That said, in your application, it doesnt look like it matters to much. Just a suggestion from a fellow painter.

i agree, it also looks like you're going to have some lines when you remove that tape that will be visible.

the tape line was just for a test area when i do the rest of the car i will do one panel at a time i was wondering if i paint the car should i wet sand the paint smooth before i spray the clear then wet sand the clear again the buff or polish then wax is this correct

just so ya know, thats not an iroc wing, irocs had the 3 piece like you took off.
