My firebird base model goes faster than 80.. I am sure of it. but my guage only goes to 80MPH. Can i drop in a trans am guage set and have the benefits of a 140 mph guage???

If its from the same gen I believe you can swap that out and have it work perfectly.

yea, that should work. just make sure you calibrate it too, i don't know if it will be wrong if you change it or not, so just pace next to someone on the highway or somethin' to make sure it is the same
