ok my inner driver door handle is broken off, can turn it some and has resistance but won't open the door, think something is off in there, and my outside door handle on my drivers side is broken, just flops up and down, think the rod may have came off. my problem is am I gonna have to rip off my door panel to get to the assembly? cuz I'd really not wanna have to do that. :/

 

That would be the only way I would think you can get it hooked on again done it twice, both times the doors wouldnt even open, so I had to sit inside the car (the lock broke and it wouldnt open, even for the key).

 

I had to swap both my doors and their internals the other day. It's a pain in the rear to do but it must be done from inside the door panel. Still haven't finished my passenger door. Everything works except for the outside handle in it.

 

You could try to use some thing like a slimjim to open it. They use them to unlock doors but sometime you can grab the right rod and open the door with out pulling on the hand. You may want to try.

finally got fed up with trying the slimjim idea, didn't work. nothing else would so i just reached in through where the armrest connects and popped out the interior panel. now i just need to rebuild the interior door assembly. is getting to be a real pain crawling over the passenger seat just to get in :/
