Rust Remove

Welding?

I have a small hole due to rust, Is there an alternative instead of welding?

This is what i'm dealing with...

if i were you id buy a new front fender ... thats some pretty good rust and it pretty deep... you can get a front fender for cheap and its not that hard to replace...

i agree look around, i found new fenders for 50 bucks a side for my 3rd gen.

but if you could care less and just want to fix it, wire wheel all the rust away, and get friendly with bondo and a sander.

please dont do this, just replace the fenders. if you really are set on fixing them without welding use fiberglass.

Thanks guys for the help, I think i'll do the fiber glass just for temp see how it comes out, If i dont like the results then i guess i'll just have to go out and rent a welder...

Take off the inner plastic fender liner to verify the extent of the rust--hopefully, you won't be horrified at what you find.

Well i took off the fender yesterday, Good news is that there isnt any rust where the fender was at, bad news is the hole got a bit bigger due to my brother losing he's balance and ramming he's knee into it... Wow...
