removing door mouldings
hey guys, just wanted to ask u guys how hard is it to remove the moulding strips on the doors, i really like the way the cars look without the moulding, how hard would it be, and how would i remove the glue left on the doors and such?

get some thick fishing line
wrap it around both your hands like you were about to strangle someone
leave about 6 inches between your hands and put it under the molding
pull across the molding with slight preasure towards yourself
this is the best way to take off moldings and emblems that are taped on
if you can buff!!! soak the glue with a rag soaked in laquer thinner
scrape with a plasitic razor blade and buff
if you cant buff tell everyone your wont see them all weekend
wrap it around both your hands like you were about to strangle someone
leave about 6 inches between your hands and put it under the molding

You may not even need the fishing line. I just grabbed mine and pulled. They fought me, but I won
. I haven't removed all the tape yet, but some Goo-Gone should work too. Might cost more than lacquer thinner, but its safer to breathe if your doing this in a small garage like I am.

mecanix gloves should be fine, you just need something to keep from getting cut, I found that out the hard way lol
