I have been given a chance to get a really cheap turbo hood that from what I can see is in great shape and this is a perfect because I am about to get a paint job.
I just have a few question but the main one is.
The hood has the holes cut out already and my worry is that this well cause a bunch of water to go in to the bay and hit the distributor cap and basically cut my car off. So for people that have this hood or know people is this a problem?

 

Well I just got a call from the guy and he told me that there is screen on the holes. this should help keep some water out. Still wound like some feedback about this hood.

 

I put the same hood on my car when I got it painted. The hole was wide open, so I called Hawks Third gen and ordered a used block of plate from them. I painted it black and put it on wich keeps anything from entering the engine bay. Then on a sunny day all I have to do is take out five bolts and shes back open. Man you can realy hear that 4bbl when shes open then. It takes me like 2 minutes to put in on or take it off.
