insulation under the hood

insulation under the hood

The insulation under my hood looks horrible, everything is in near mint shape except for that, does it serve a purpose? can i drive around without it? or should I replace it? and if so does anyone no where to get a new one? Thanks

Sound insulation. Many members discard it. I replaced from GM.

Once it gets dirty n nasty it just a fire hazard that ill get your bad all dirty n itchy, junk it and or replace it.

That and them darn door buzzers are one of the first things I remove.
