hatch alignment

I have rear hatch alignment 101 and understand it, but could that be causing the hatch to be as far as 1/4-1/2" out ?

Re: hatch alignment

Went ahead and went after the rear glass as per the instructions and got it within 1/16" or so. Much better. I do think the hinges are worn, but will have to wait a little while to tackle that job as one of the bolts just spins.
Thanks guys for the sticky on the hatch. Lots of work but worth it.
