Ok guys heres a riddle for ya. I used to have a 91 z-28 I kept the high rise wing and the t tops off it. I recently bought a 91 RS and not the t tops don't fit and the wing don't fit. The t tops are too small and the wing is too wide. What is up with this shouldn't the body be the same?

 

i dont know about the spoiler but there were 3 different t-tops and they were not the same size. you just have the worng ones. maybe that is why gm is eating the big one now.

 

By "the wing is too wide", do you mean wider than the hatch flat piece, or fender edges? It should fit to the fender edges on all Camaros.

 

It's been awhile since I looked at a third gen. But yeah the wing goes past the hatch to the edge of the fenders. But what baffles me is that the ends of the wing have mounting bolts, obviously if I mount them up the trunk won't open LOL. I just don't remember when i opened the trunk hatch on my last z28 if the wing hung off of the hatch or not.

 

IIRC, the wing uses 2 'L' shaped brackets. It mounts to the brackets & the brackets mount to the sides of the hatch.

 

Ill have to see if I can find one I can look at. That don't make sense because the mount bolts would hit the rear fenders even with the L bracket. Well any good pics of your camaros maybe with the trunk hatch open so i can check it out?
