This is probably not even worth a thread, but I was wondering if anyone else's car has problems with eating hood latches?

Seriously, my car has destroyed 4 hood latches in a year, and I have no idea why. It's a stock 3.1 v6 haha, I've bought them used, new, doesn't matter, the car just destroys them, for no apparent reason.

I gave up today and bought some hood pins, because I was tired of replacing the latches.
