Not sure if this is the place to post this but, I was wondering how much would a decent Z28 85 Shell go for? Complete rolling chassis with no interior all glass is good it's lowered. Only thing wrong with it the rear spoiler is broke on one corner.

A guy on craigslist is selling one in my area and was kind of wondering how much it would be worth?

 

$500.00 tops no matter the condition. Less if there is ANY rust on it.

 

depend if all the good stuff is picked off it, disc brakes, computer wiring harness,cross members,power windows,power door lock, relays,posi,ac, and what you have laying around to fix it. how many miles are on it, and if it is a real Z28 what was the induction, what gears does it have, is the paint perfect,what about wheels and tire, how much can you buy one that has been cared for vs all the time to find everything and if you find them alots of little thing add up to alot of money, are you doing the work or paying some one? ask what they will pay you to store it for they lol. give it some thought

 

The body looks really good expect for the rear spoiler. I have only seen pictures because it is more then a hour drive away and the roads have been shut down off and on for the last two weeks. It has the stock wheels on it. The paint looks good. The guy is taking the engine and tranny out of it and said the interior is stripped everything but the dash.

I was just wondering because this guy hasn't came back with any offers I told him $350 he hasn't responded yet. The reason I am asking is I just bought a 350 gmgoodwrench crate motor for $600 to put in my 85 Z28 and now that I take a step back and look at it I really don't want to put the engine in that car. It's trashed. fenders are smashed in really bad GFX are all broken front bumper is all torn up and broken. It has T-tops and when it rains it's like their not even on there.

I was just going to take whatever parts I needed and put them in this other one instead of wasting anymore time or money on the trash I have now. I could sell the one I have now to a scrap yard and get what I paid for it just for the sheetmetal on it. After I strip it of all the stuff I need that is.

 

I paid 500$ for a 87 formula t-tops fadded paint but straight rust free body. I had a rotted 87 tpi trans am with great drive train and interior so that is my winter project!! My opinion is under 750$
