diff. between 84 and 90 fbird t-tops?
my brother lost a t-top on the highway last night...found some off an 84 f-bird but not sure if they will fit. his car has the pin that's about as big as ur thumb

the pins off off an 84 will be the skinny ones, and may need to be changed out. the big ones have the plastic around the metal pin. the older ones are just a small skinny metal pin. im not sure about the actual size of the top itself, but the pins aren't going to be the right sizes. there are a bunch of posts abou that stuff, i came across a few searching for that same thing awhile back
