rear hatch

is their a button you can press to realese the hatch i'm kinda sick of having to use my key

It was an available option. The button would be on the center console if you have a Camaro or the middle of the dash below the gauges on a Firebird.

It can be added. My '84 T/A wasn't originally ordered with it but I found a car in the salvage yard with the option and installed everything into my car. It was plug and play. You need to get the button, wiring harness, and the electric solenoid that attaches to the rear hatch latch.
