Where can I get the one piece pre formed hood insulation for 1984 trans am in the cleveland ohio area? Classic industries wants 70.00 for the insulation and 200.00 to ship.

Check Eckler's. They sell it for like $80, but not sure of the shipping. They have the WinterNationals happening in 3 weeks in Orlando and I have heard them offer free shipping during the show. If you know someone going to the show, they might be able to have it shipped for free. I'll be there and would be willing to help, but Eckler's knows me and know that I don't live in Ohio. They also offer free shiping from time to time, so check their website often.

Also, check with the dealer. My dealer has 'em still available for the 87 at about $80 also.

 

Ebay has them for 47.00. I dont know the quality but I see it on there alot when I search for either 91 or 92 camaro.

 

I have bought the cheap ebay repop of the insulation, it actually was not bad, amd it shipped folded so it was cheap to ship. It is not factory "correct", however, but looks good.
