Front 'spoiler' nuts/bolts after crash repair wrong?

I've just pulled my old front spoiler off my 1988 IROC. Apparently, the car had been hit in the front sometime before I owned it and I'm not sure it was reinstallled correctly?

On the very front nose portion, the attatchment clips have been rivited on and show signs of having been hammered flat and then rebent before rivits applied.
Secondly, on the middle of the left and right sides the hardware from my old piece (I'm installing the 91 ground effects) do not appear to be factory and don't transfer over, fitment wise, to the updated spoiler attatchment spots.

I did a 'Search' but didn't find a reference to the spoiler hardware posted.

Do any of you have detailed understanding of how the bolts and bolt retainers are supposed to fit and what the factory method was of attatching the bolt holders to the plastic spoiler is?

I'd appreciate any helpful suggestions on this as I don't like to just 'slap things together'. Nitro-Nicky
