I just got new window sweeps inner and outer havnt put them on till i know exactly what else i need. i can physically push on my widow when it is all the way up? will the sweeps stop this or is something else wrong insde my doors i have power windows. Any help????????? summers coming gotta get it fixed

Re: windows are loose

Remove the door top plastic. There should be two metal pieces with felt on the end that push against the window. If they are missing the window will flop all over the place.

Those metal peices that push up against the window that push on the window so the window will stay in the correct place. They might be loose or from wear might not be up against the window. Take the plastic peice off the door and see if there is any gaps between the window and the and the felt on the metal brackets. If there is a gap loosen the bolt that holds the bracket and push the bracket upgainst the window when it is up. Becareful there is not too much pressure against the window if you have power windows, it will put too much stress on the motor. If you do not have power windows then it does not matter as much.

Re: windows are loose

take the whole door panel off and tighten everything

these cars are pro for loose windows

also check the motors and the weak rivets that hold them together

I weld mine
