Advice on C4 door handles

I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of what would be involved in switching in C4 Corvette door handles for the third gen ones? I like how they are flush with the door, not raised, but still rectangular so match the lines of the car. Thoughts?

Re: Advice on C4 door handles

I like the look too, but the covette door panels are composite, so there is no sectioning and welding into place. Same goes for 4th gen doors. There are other GM door handles that are flush, but they are a plastic handle surround that is set in a steel door. To do it seamless like a C4, you would have to have the section that the handle mounts to custom fabricated out of steel and welded to the door panel.
