92 Camaro Spoiler on my GTA
So I completed my hatch swap yesterday. Didnt like the crappy wrap around spoiler but I like this one. Plus this one was already tinted and doesnt have those hooks for the spoiler on the glass. Im gonna do a quick paint job on it for now. I still have to get manual doors before I re paint the whole car, which will be matte black with a low gloss clear.
Opinions are appreciated. Thanks.
And after a quick $6 paint job. haha.

Re: 92 Camaro Spoiler on my GTA
When I read "92 spoiler" I expected to see the 91/92 Hi-rise Z wing, not the 82-90 spoiler/91-92 RS spoiler.....
Like below......You gonna put the 2 side RS spoiler pieces on?

Re: 92 Camaro Spoiler on my GTA
I am dong the exact same thing...I do want the high riser but am settling for the low one until/if one comes along. I dont think the side pieces would look right because of the tail light lines...it might but Im not doing it.
Looks good but being a different colour makes it sorta stand out. Im sure when its painted it will look really good. I wish you had a shot from further away. Nice tint...is that legal?

Re: 92 Camaro Spoiler on my GTA
It's not right. The rear end shape is different because of the taillights.
I will try and get a better picture from further away. The rear tint can be as dark as you want I believe. The driver and passenger are "legally" suppose to have no tint. I got a fix it ticket for my camaro for my driver and passenger window tint but not for back. That's why I wont be tinting the sides on this one.

The pic I posted doesn't look bad though, with the 91/92 Z Hi-Rise.

Re: 92 Camaro Spoiler on my GTA
I kind of dig it.
I agree that the side pieces wouldnt fit on the rear... .But I think you could make some really simple end pieces to sort of finish off the ends of the spoiler. Even if they were just little angled pieces that sloped down to the top of the rear quarter.
Ide like to see some more/clearer shots of it though... I think I like that better than no spoiler at all.
Looks like you did a nice job of lining the new hatch up....that can be fun and exciting. haha.

Re: 92 Camaro Spoiler on my GTA
I agree. I just had this one from my RS for free.
Better than no spoiler is exactly what I was thinking. The lining up was EXTREMELY fun. haha.
