GTA Hoodvents

So I took off the two front vents and re painted the screens behind them black. I wanted to do the back two by the wind shield and I wanted to know the process of taking them off? Thanks

Re: GTA Hoodvents

They snap in. If you go in from the back side with a screw driver gently push the edges of the "snaps" they will come out. I don't remember if you have to remove the hood bolts to access the "snaps". ( I think I did) Memory is not what it used to be.

Re: GTA Hoodvents

when i did mine the rear ones did pretty much snap out, i forget exactly how.

the front ones were the pains in the ***, they have two bolts holding them in, i think its like 13mm, but there isnt enough room to get a socket in there, so what i had to do was try to use a pair of needle nosed pliers and just work it out slowly, it was not much fun lol, there is no real structural need to have the holes this small there, so ifyou wanted to im sure you could just use a dremel on it, i was about to lol. it just looks like poor planning on GM's part when you look at it
