Poly wrap around
What are the chances that I will find an original wrap around gta spoiler in good shape with no cracks on it?

Re: Poly wrap around
I recently found one with no cracks on a complete hatch ... for free even... but I think the guts are rusted out of it. It needs some surface work and paint but I'm not sure it's worth the effort.

Re: Poly wrap around
Agreed if you find one it is rusted internally, even garage kept ones rust unless the day it was purchased it was taken off and painted/sealed on the bottom. I had one for a while I pulled out of the junkyard. It was in good shape on the surface but the "arms" were flexiable as the metal had rusted to the point where it would break easily. The fiberglass one is a close reproduction. There are a few minor details that are different.
The leading edge is usually squared and not rounded as the orginal. The edges had more definition than the orginal rubber one but that may have just been the age of the rubber one.
The only reason to get a rubber one is if you want a 100% orginal surivor car, but that requires orginal paint. The fiberglass one will look and last 100% better.
