when did GM switch form small pins to large pins on the t-tops
i am trynig to find a set of glass tops for my 92 rs that has the large pins and was wandering what years if any will fit

 

All years of factory ttops will work on any 82-92 cars. Just swap the mounting hardware from your set to the new set and then you won't need to worry about locating the exact year.

 

My 89 bird has the large pins. but you can swap out the hardware like was suggested. but if you are looking for an extra set I would try to get as new as possible. The plastic ones were replaced with glass ones on alot of newer 3ed gens as part of an expired recall.
