86 pontiac firebird. i dont like the hood and also want induction for the carb. the only hoods i can find are the 4th gen looking ram airs which id buy a 4th gen if i wanted 4th gen stuff. cowl is ok but would rather go with something else so im down to scoops. ive heard it weakens the hood up, which if you take out the supports duh, so if i had to cut them out any ideas on reinforcing or is it even going to weaken it that bad. also what different methods of getting it to stay put ie glues, welds whatever.
any suggestions on some scoops or pics.
