the title is my question . does anyone know of a source for NEW hatch hinges ? i have searched and found many sources for used ones , but no luck for new ones . one of mine , maybe both are shot . i have 2 parts cars , but before i take on the hatch/align i would like to have new hinges . if i can't find new i will use the best of what i have . thanks in advance .

I'm looking for them too....and new hinge gaskets....they're hard to find.

 

the gaskets such as they are , i am pretty we will have to make . the same with the shims . seems like we might be SOL on new hinges . anyone know if 4th gens. might be the same ???

 

I went out and checked my 02 model, and its hinges are totally different. My 91 has the plastic headed bolts going through the glass from the outside like they all do, and my 02 doesnt have these bolts at all, they are attached to the glass from the inside somehow. I dont see any way you could get them to work without loads of conversion.
