new with question

I recently located 4 firebird bodies and 2 camaro, all 3rd gen., all in very good condition. Even the paint is still good. No motors or trannies, but otherwise pretty intact. No bends or dings. I can pick these up for $200 each. Being new to the third gen world, I am wondering if this might be a good deal.
Birds are all 4 t top cars with excellent tops, very good bodies. 1 camaro is really good, the other is fair. All 6 cars are 89-92 models.
I'm thinking that this might be a good deal, but I'm new to the third gen world, but an old hot rodder. Economy being what it is...have to watch where I spend my bucks.
2 birds and 1 camaro I'm thinking to street rod. The others to part out. Need some parts on my 90 bird...so...
Give me some input from some third gen gurus.
Hope I've posted this in the right section.

Re: new with question

Anytime you buy a rust free roller for $200 dollars, you're getting a good deal.

Re: new with question

yea def a good deal man if anything you can always part out. Bought my roller ( 305, 5 speed, t top, no rust) for $370 so if they are as good as you say and you have the money go for it.

Re: new with question

Thanks for all the input. As I said, all 6 cars are missing motors and trannies, but otherwise pretty much complete. I guess I'll go back next week and try to deal on them. Oh yeah...the kicker..the old guy(87 yrs old) that has them said he'd pull them to my place, about 15 miles, for 10 bucks apiece.
Cheap enough!!!
Let me add one thing about these forums. Best and most information I've found on the net in one spot. Glad to be on board here, finally.
