So it looks like my 87 Camaro is probably on it's last legs, and I'm looking to pop off that logo on the hood as a souvenir to remember the old girl by.

Does anyone have any tips on how to do that? Can I just get a flat-head screwdriver in there and get it off or is it attached in some other way?

is this emblem on the hood or front bumper cover? if it's the front cover then there is two nuts that hold it on behind the cover

 

It's the red, white, and blue one on the front cover.
