Hey i was wonering how much back spacing i shold look for when i buy new rims. I woul like to buy some 15x8 rims for the tires i have now. They are 26x10.5 hoosiers. I am running all stock body and suspention how much bzckspasing do i need to run 26x8 tires on 10 in rims. The tires have been pulled to a 10 in rim for a previous vehical an i want to keep the profile on my t/a.

 

15x8 with 4.5 or 5" of bs would work, one would just sit the wheel out a little further.

15x10 with 5.5 is a common size, but it sits the wheel just slightly outside the wheel well. 6 is better, os 6.5 would be best, but you may have to do some hammering inside the wheel well.

 

10 inch rim will not fit unless you modify. cut off your bump stops and the inner fender well is 2 pieces of metal thick. cut that out and replace with one piece of metal. i had an 8.5 inch wheel with 3.5 back space. the TIRE stuck out a little over half inch. so id say with and 8 inch wheel 3.5 back space should be okay but go with 4 just in case. maybe somebody can verify about the 3.5 inch. depending on how wide your tire is will be the variable.
