some questions
ok so a few months ago i was in a small accident and need need a new hood and bumper cover. now i have the parts but i need to get them painted, how ever i have very little money and was wondering what the best way to go about this would be. im thinking i can ether paint the myself (i have no experience and no tools and cant even find a place to get the exact color paint) or i could take it to a shop and have them painted them but that might be kinda spendy or my last option take them to maaco and have them shoot it with color. now before everyone goes attacking me for saying maaco the maaco here iv herd good things about and the biggest problem i hear with maaco is the prep work and i plan on sanding and priming everything anyway i just dont want to do the color. and just wondering what do u guys think a decent shop would charge to paint a bumper cover, front gfx and a hood if its all already been sanded and primed and is not on the car

Re: some questions
Really just go ask the shops for quotes and let them know your looking into other shops. Most of the time they will give you pretty good deals. It's really hard guessing the price of paintjobs across states and shops.
Re: some questions
Depending on how the body is a decent paint job will probably run you around 4500.
If you take it to Macco, it will be cheaper but be prepared to have over spray on stuff like your exhaust, headlights, mirrors.
Try to see if you can get it into a vocational school, and let the students do it for you. If you can It'll be the cheapest best way to get it done.
