While dissasembling the Formula for body work, I have come across some surface rust on the bumpers and was wondering how to fix it so it would not deteriorate any further. The factory, of course, dipped the whole car. These parts are completely covered by the fascia but stopping the rust now seems like a good idea.
Any thoughts?

 

sand it down with 80 grit, and get rid of all the rust, then spray it 2K epoxy primer
