how do i replace the release cable.
from the hood release pull inside the car and thur the firewall

 

Welcome to the site. I haven't replaced one on these cars,but you should be able to just unclip & unbolt it all through the firewall and up to the latch mechanism in front of the car.

Someone else I'm sure will chime in and tell you how long of a job it is.
