The passenger door on my 89 RS was hit while my friend owned the car. Now the damage is just to much to fix. It's not just the door skin. So I was looking for another door. I found someone with doors on craigslist near me. Now these doors have power windows and mine are manual. These doors are way to cheap for me to pass up. So if I was to just swap the doors out to the power doors how hard is it to get the power windows to work wiriing wise? I would imagine find a power source wire it to the window switch on the door with a fuse in the middle and ground it? Any one have done something similar any ideas? Where to wire it and how to do it? Any help would be nice! Thanks

 

To switch to power windows it's probably best to pull a wiring harness and switches out of a donor car from a junk yard or something. It runs along the front just below the dash pad. It's best to do this before swapping so that you can operate the window/s. The harness also includes the pieces that go in between the doors.
