Rear bumper need help
So I am takeing therear bumper off my 91 rs. Well I get the bumper cover, spolier, and now I'm down to the rubber bumper. And there 8 bolts to take out. Now this is where I ran into some problms. I started to unscrew the bolts and I got the first few off and then it was like the back of the bold that kinda looks like a squar sliped and now all it does is just spin.
So my question is how should I go about takeing it off. Should I cut the bolt or tig weld it back to the bumper and try to unscrew it. And the last question is if I do cut them where could I get new bolts.

Re: Rear bumper need help
Yes, the rear inner bumper is held on with eight studs. There are metal strips that have two studs each on them. It sounds like the metal strips have broken causing the studs to just spin because that is all that keeps them in place. The best route is to just cut them off and replace them.
