UMI subframe connectors

Axle/Gears: 10 bolt w/ 28 spl posi, 4.10, disks
UMI subframe connectors
So I got a super sweet deal from Summit last night. I picked up some UMI subframe connectors shipped for $163. (yes, they are new) I like how they connect to the subframes better then the Spohn ones, but I like how Spohn welds to the pinch seam as well. Can this be done with the UMI connectors?
