I would've given him my plain RS hood to experiment with.

 

At first first i didnt have a clue what your talking about, but thanks to the "zoom" function in paintshop i did find what you mean.


It's such a clean mod, the owner is a magician with his anglegrinder...

 

looks more like a procharger or some supercharger, but usually they go on the driver side. i imagine if they put it on the correct side it'd fit under the hood

 

It's probably on the correct side for the application it was originally intended. It's probably not a 3rd gen one, just a random supercharger kit on another chevy V8 he probably found from a friend or on craigslist. Would need a new bracket assembly and belt to fix it, or just cut the hood lol
