Undercoat question

Just a question for those of you that used the 3M rubberized undercoat. It says on the can that it dries in 20 minutes, is that true? I'm pulling my transmission out this weekend and I want to do the underside of the tunnel. I'll be running a torpedo heater in the garage so it'll be warm while I'm working but not too long after. If it really dries in 20 minutes thats great, but if its "mostly" dry in 20 minutes but takes half a day to dry that might be a problem.. Any advice?
