Door compatibility

I've recently gotten an 85 Camaro Berlinetta with a mostly broken / non-functioning drivers side door, and a pretty rough passenger side, and found a set of nice doors locally from an 86 z28 for 125 bucks. I read that there are some mounting differences on the front hoods between the 85 and 86, but can't find info about the door mounts and am wondering if these doors from the 86 will fit my car easily or if I have to do any modifications, especially before I start spending money this way and that.

Re: Door compatibility

The doors are the same for all 1982-1992 Camaros. There are differences in door panels and possibly arm rests, but these differences are only cosmetic. Anything else such as power window motors, window guides, window sweeps, mirrors, power mirror hardware, manual window adjusters, door handles, power lock buttons, power lock actuators, etc. can be swapped over easily.
