surface rust around the windshield

Hi,

I have been trying to keep control of the rust that is starting to appear on my car, but it seems that the sooner I fix one area, something else pops in another area. I plan on pretty much taking the body panels off the car and sending everything down to bear metal and repainting everything.
I have been also planning on installing new weather striping when I do this, however I was not planing on removing the windshield.
Well, this morning i noticed that a little bit of rust has started to appear between the rubber strip that goes around the windshield and the corner of the pillar on the passenger side. I can treat the rust that I can get to right now with rust bullet just to slow things down, but in order to address the issue completely I have to remove the windshield.
How does one go about removing and reinstalling windshields. I have never done something like it before and also I have never seen somebody do it. Also, could anybody point me to where it is that I can find a new rubber stripping that goes around the windshield? Your help and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I did. It seems like a PITA. I think I would be better off hiring somebody to remove the windshield and then to come back and either put a new one in or re-use the old one, depending on which is cheaper.
