Re: 86 Iroc build/restoration
If I were you when it comes to the IROC stripes and decals I would have a stecil made from the stickers and have them painted on. The reason I say that is because then your decals will last as long as your paint job does. I know that on my Iroc the clear coat is peeling but I am missing the I on one side and missing have the Z on the other along with bits and pieces of the stripes. You could probably pay someone to paint them on for as much as it would cost to have the stickers purchased and put on by someone.

I already bought the gold sticker set from Phoenix Graphics, I'll install them and hope for the best. I'll make sure I have them in the right place

Nice build! I too am the owner of a black/gold '86 IROC. Black interior and no t-tops though.

Oh its Fatmat, I got a 100 square foot roll. I used around 70 square feet, and put some foil backed jute insulation on top of it on the floor pan. The car is actually pretty quiet now since I got all the interior back together. The stuff is pretty heavy, but it was worth it.

Re: 86 Iroc build/restoration
I'm finally getting around to installing the body stripes, and "IROC" decals. Too many projects at home, and I've been daily driving the IROC. I should have some pics up tonight.

Got the stripes on! Took these today on an Easter Photoshoot at south mountain.
