Anyone ever done this?
Greetings and salutations my fellow 3rd gen fans. I have a question. Have any of you ever taken a 'bird or TA and made a SE style Bandit version? I have an 89 305 tbi bird that I have added TA effects to, BBS wheels from a totaled GNX, the wraparound rear spoiler and a TA hood. But now I want to go further. I think I have enough room underhood to take a spare Shaker I have from a 2nd gen and make it function on the 89. I want to go black with SE style pinstripes and screaming chicken. I have a new interior waiting to go in after I get the T-top weatherstripping replaced. I can get machine turned trim jfor the dash and I think it might look ex-mother-in-law mean when I'm done. What do you think?

ive seen the shaker done before, but keep in mind the engine is not in teh center of the car, so the shaker will not sit centered on teh carb/throttle body. Thats kind of a problem with that idea.

I figured that part out with the 2nd gen TA's. The shaker base has provisions for adjustments. But, if there isn't enough adjustment to center it up, I can make a new mounting and use the factory air cleaner housing and adapt the shaker to it. This is a long term goal, and I can use all of the potential problems anyone else can see that I can't. I'm trying to get all of the measurements and ideas written down my notebook so I can't say once I get into it, that I didn't see something before hand.
