Oh Crap FRAME DAMAGE!

Some of you may recall a post I made back in november when I wrecked my car. Initial inspection led me to believe that the damage was isolated to bolt on body pieces.

Two weeks ago when I crawled under for an oil change however told a different story.

Looking from up top, there appears to be no damage to the radiator support or strut tower area. Maybe the spot of the radiator support directly behind the two headlights got concaved a tad bit, bit underneath the car, the passenger side mount point for the inner bumper/collision bar got smashed in and bent downward.

I've been daily driving the car ever since the accident with no noticable effects on handling, but I'm a bit concerned.

Please tell she will be OK after an appointment with the body shop (frame pull).

If the only damage is in front of the suspension mount points, there wouldn't be any effect on handling....

I am concerned about how well the new parts will line up once I rebuild the front end.

So far I've bought a new front nose with header panel, inner collision bar and drivers fender. All I need is a passenger fender and a hood.

They won't...need to get in on the rack and have it pulled back to spec. Just had one of our local genius' totally screw up a bunch of new parts cuz he wasn't going to waste the money getting it pulled.... These old 3rd gens are so dang twisty-flexy, it's not a bad idea to have them checked and pulled straight if required before any serious builds are started....JMO

That's what I'm saying. What can I expect after a frame pull? I am hoping to get her back together and get a paint job this fall.
