door windows hitting t-tops
door windows hitting t-tops
after weather got cold my door windows started hitting and catching on the t-top rubber strip. i have tried prying up the rubber a little and that works for awhile but eventually comes back down and catches again, usually at the worst of times(like when someone is looking). any thoughts on this problem????

Re: door windows hitting t-tops
Welcome to the 3rd gen T-Top! They all do it.
You can get new rubber pieces for the tops, and some mentioned in a thread about newer ones that are stiffer - but they are pricey.
I've seen folks trim them down with a blade as well.
Mine do it - I just shut the door by pressing slightly on the top of the glass so that the window tucks back under on the close - but it's not good for the glass alignment either.
