fog lights

I have an 87 trans am. the fog lights don't work and the parts store sold me bulbs. I cant figure out how to replace just the bulbs. Do I replace the bulbs or do you have to replace the entire light itself? If you do change the bulbs, how?

Re: fog lights

2 vertical brackets on the ends of the front of the lens. You'll see the 2 torx screw heads.

Take those off, then you can pull the whole lens housing out.

After getting it out, you can see how the bulb pulls out of the back of the lens housing under a wire type retainer. They are just like a HID style bulb.

While your in there, go ahead & upgrade the light output using this FREE method that I did to mine.
