Soda blasting fiberglass
I'm in the process of stripping my ground effects and wing parts, and had a some questions regarding using a soda blaster. I started with the decklid section of the wing (3 coats of paint). At 60psi the soda takes the paint off slowly at first, than goes right through and pits the fiberglass. I tried 40 psi but it just seemed to dull the paint, not really remove it.
Is this more of a technique thing, maybe too much/little pressure? Sorry this is my first time using soda blasting
Any input is greatly appreciated!

I brought all my ground effects into work today, they have big compressors and nice water seperators. I'm gonna play with pressure, and the throttle valve on the blaster. I'll post up the results.

Re: Soda blasting fiberglass
Just an update. I started with 30 psi and the nozzle about 12 inches away and it just dulled the clear. When I brought the nozzle to about 6in away it started to remove it, but in a hurry goes thru the basecoat and right into the fiberglass.
I think the biggest challenge is my stuff has tons of clearcoat on it. There are runs along the top edge where they meet the door skin. It takes awhile to get thru, hits the soft basecoat and goes right into the glass. I've decided to go across until I still have color, but the clear is lifted with the nozzle close, then go back with the nozzle further away. It's taking forever but not pitting the fiberglass like before.
I hate stripping paint lol.
