Effects of gamma irradiation on body parts

I'm importing some parts from America to Australia and sadly they have been flagged in customs as 'contaminated with soil' *gasp*
They've told me they can treat the parts with gamma irradiation but first get me to sign a waiver that basically states they have no liablility in the event the parts are damaged, even as a result of them cutting open packaging and haphazardly re-packaging them.
I've done some research and found gamma irradition can discolour polyurethane parts. So my question is, are either of the following parts made out of polyurethan?
Factory ground effects for a 91-92 model (with aero holes)
Upper plastic door trim (that plastic piece at the top of the door).
From what i could find I don't think so, but since I know nothing about plastic I thought it was worth clarifying first.

Thanks in advance anyone that can field this rather odd question (and sorry if this is in the wrong section but this one seemed most relevant to the question)

well when you are importing parts from america you have to be carefull, Idiocracy spreads like wild fire out here, even our president has a terrible case of idiocy, that being said, plastic is usually polyethylene, polyurethane, or polypropylene. i do believe the door plastics are polyurethane

Thanks for the input mate! I can understand the need for quarantines etc, but they basically want me to sign away any liability to them if the parts are damaged as a result of them repackaging them with no due care. Not too keen on that idea.
Well thanks for that, I don't really have much choice in the matter, i either agree or the package is destroyed. I can live with the GFX being discoloured since they'll be resprayed, but the door trim I'd like in good condition. Fingers crossed they are ok.

Not really an option in this case, and the sender has been absolutely brilliant so far, cannot fault them at all. I guess this is the trouble with international shipping. Will have to take my chances - not like I have much choice. Besides, may turn out to be fine and they'll get here ok but I'm something of a pessimist
