I remove the NEG batt cable--I don't have ECM, just a radio & clock to reset.
Take off the dist cap & lean it out of the way.
If you can, leave the plug wires on. If not, mark them so you know where they go.
The rotor is held in with 2 small screws or 2 very tiny bolts.
Notice how the rotor is positioned.
Remove the old rotor.
Place the new rotor on just how the old one came off. Some come with new screws already in the rotor.
Snug it on. DON"T go too tight-- the holes will strip.
Replace the dist cap, & any wires you removed, putting them where they came off.
Make sure the dist cap is locked down.
Connect the batt cable if you took it off.
Start it up & go cruisin'!!

but.. alas, more problems have been found, the air to fuel ratio and the timing arent doing that great.
the timing I know little about, but the air to fuel ratio i'm assuming is with a computer?

it starts up better but not perfect yet, any advice on the rotor? **** it should be getting done in a few weeks?
