Car: 1991 camaro z28 convertible

Engine: 5.0 v8

Transmission: 700r4

Axle/Gears: 9 bolt 3.23 borg worner

hood not opening

i was fixing a vaccum leak on my car n i closed the hood but wen i tryed to open it again the hood pulley on the inside of my car feels like its not pulling the hood release n now i cant get my hood open any idead on how to fix

i had the same prob what i did was pull the hood release, and push the hood down (not too hard) and then pull up do that a couple times it should open up. and once you get it up put some grease on the hood latch...

I was going to say if the hood release handle feels like it locks after you pull it then go over to your hood and right about where the latch is located give it a couple of hard taps with the bottom of your hand while making a fist...

Not sure where your cable runs, but mine runs right by my battery. Sometimes it gets wrapped around the battery and it feels like your pulling on a resistance band. Just a thought?!
